Hatta mountain tour-Exploring the dazzling terrain of Hatta

Hatta tour is ideal for those who love to spend time in Nature’s magical elements and have a flair for adventure. Hatta is just one and half hour’s drive from Dubai and the safari to the majestic Hajar Mountain is the best way to unwind merrily and peacefully at once.

I booked my trip through the website of a leading travel company in Dubai for our weekend Hatta trip. We group of five friends started our trip to Hatta by 4WD vehicle at 8.30am, passing through Al Aweer driving along the sand dunes in excitement. The desert safari was thrilling and interesting.

The mystical beauty of the place was so attractive and we stopped for a photo shoot, and then carry on to Hajjar Mountains that lies in Oman boundary.

Mountain trekking was little tiring yet we enjoyed it. We made it a point to visit the local heritage village and the Portuguese Fort, which were built in the sixteenth century. We examined the rustic, ancient typical village life elements in the surroundings. We marveled at the mastery of architecture and the ancient wisdom reflected in the construction.

It was like a feast to the eyes watching the lush green beautiful valleys of Hatta. Another appealing sight was the seasonal River Beds. We took a plunge in the mountain pond for a swim in its chilly refreshing waters. The rock pools in Hatta gives the place an aura that beats ones expectations, the crystal clear water surrounded by the rugged mountains catch ones attention.

It’s so tempting to try the waters in the first sight itself. After having great fun in the pool, we went to Hatta Fort Hotel, the 5 star hotel for lunch, enjoying the chic décor and lovely service. The lavishness of the greenery was so soothing for the senses, the array of palm trees and the dense green plants gave a mystique charm to the whole place.

We wind up our trip fully recharged and refreshed upon spending the coolest time in Natures lap. On our way back we checked out the street market where lot of interesting carpets, handmade pottery was on display. We purchased few nice stuffs and headed home.We decided to visit Hatta one more time as we felt we didn’t get enough time to appreciate all the attractions of Hatta.
